Classical Arabic translator

Classical Arabic (fuṣḥā al-turāth) is the written and liturgical register codified in the seventh and eighth centuries from the Qur'an, pre-Islamic poetry and hadith. Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) is its modern continuation: the same script and foundation, but divergent vocabulary, style and use. Classical source texts call for a translator with philological and contextual knowledge; modern official documents we translate in MSA. An MSA translator is not automatically suited to classical texts.
