Certified translations for courts, full localisation of SaaS platforms, multilingual campaigns: every project gets a tailored approach. Our project managers coordinate teams of specialist translators, editors and DTP professionals, and confirm the achievable deadline in the quote. Below you will find a selection of recent projects.
The figures are real; where a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) requires it, we name the sector and city instead of the client.

International Contract Translation
Translation of complex shareholder agreements, joint-venture contracts and related annexes from EN into NL, DE and FR for a technology company completing a cross-border acquisition. All documents had to be legally sound in each jurisdiction.
The contracts contained jurisdiction-specific clauses that needed to be formulated differently per country. Terminological consistency across three languages was critical to prevent divergent interpretations.
Approach
A team of three specialised legal translators worked in parallel, coordinated by a terminologist who compiled a multilingual glossary. Each translation was reviewed by a second legal-specialist translator.
Result
All translations delivered within four business days. The client closed the acquisition on schedule, and the documents were accepted without corrections by all notary offices involved.
“Ecrivus delivered three legally watertight translations in four days. That made the difference for our deadline.”
Translation and DTP of a 180-page annual report from EN into NL, FR and DE for a publicly listed company. The report included financial statements, board reports, risk sections and sustainability reporting in accordance with IFRS and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
Tight deadline due to the regulatory filing obligation. Financial terminology had to be consistent across three languages, and the DTP had to follow the brand guidelines exactly, including charts, tables and footnotes.
Approach
Three specialised financial translators worked in parallel, supported by a terminologist managing an IFRS glossary for all three languages. A DTP specialist adapted the layout in InDesign using the client's brand templates.
Result
The annual report was delivered two days before the publication deadline. All three language versions were approved without corrections by the Board of Directors and the external auditor.
“Ecrivus's quality and timeliness gave us complete confidence heading into our publication deadline.”

02
Match with a specialist
We assign your project to a translator with subject-matter knowledge and the right language combination. For certified work, a translator registered with a statutory register.
03
Translation with CAT tools
The translator works with glossaries and CAT tools (Trados, Phrase, memoQ). Where AI speeds up the work, the final check stays with a human specialist.
04
Revision and quality control
A second specialist reviews the translation where the field, risk or volume requires it. Automated QA checks and a layout check follow.
05
Delivery and glossary
You receive the translation in the agreed format. Your glossary grows with each project, so follow-up work runs faster and more consistently.
Sectors
The fields we translate for
Every field has its own terminology and requirements. Our translators work only in the domain they are trained for.
Legal and certified
Contracts, litigation documents and certified translations for law firms, notaries and private individuals. Certified work is handled by sworn translators, with an apostille under the Hague Apostille Convention 1961 or legalisation where the authority requires it.
Technical and software
Machine manuals, safety documentation and UI localisation. Translators with an engineering background work with glossaries and, where needed, integrate directly into a localisation platform such as Phrase.
Medical and pharma
CE dossiers under EU MDR 2017/745, patient information leaflets (PILs) and SmPC texts following the EMA style guide and QRD templates. Translated by linguists with a biomedical background and reviewed by a second specialist.
Financial
Annual reports, half-year figures and sustainability reporting, with experience in financial reporting standards. Translation and DTP under one roof, so tables, charts and house style carry over to every language version.
Marketing and e-commerce
Transcreation of campaigns, product copy and online shops per market. Native copywriters preserve your brand voice and adapt the message to local conventions, linked to multilingual SEO.
Multimedia
Voice-over, subtitling and e-learning in multiple languages. Native voice talent works from time-coded scripts; subtitles are synchronised and delivered per language.
